Terms and Symbols in SmartMusic

The definitions for a very large number of music symbols and terms are available from the “Help” menu by choosing either “Symbols” or “Terms” (you get the same result). In order to have these definitions available you must be attached to the internet.

“Composer Info” and “Composition Info” (i.e., information about the composer of the work and the specific composition) are both available in the “File” menu for many works in the accompaniments which come with SM.

Because the printed parts which come with the Flute and Clarinet Solos with SM Accompaniment which I have edited also include information about the composer and the composition, in addition to trill and alternate fingering suggestions, “Composer Info” and “Composition Info” are not available for these pieces.
