Create a Custom SmartMusic
Accompaniment for your
Flute or Clarinet

In addition to hearing a full orchestral sound - each instrument on a separate track (channel) - different right/left placement (panning) typical of standard orchestral seating, you can also create a custom accompaniment for your SmartMusic Flute or Clarinet solo:

- adjust tempo (entire work - a specific region - beat by beat)

- record yourself with the full Orchestral Accompaniment

- set start (or stop) anywhere in the piece

- create practice loops (repeated sections)

- set cuts (e.g., skip Tutti sections)

- turn off repeats (i.e., no repeats played)

- add a metronome click

- set a count in (click or voice) of 1, 2 or 4 bars

- check fingering

- check tuning

- change pitch from standard A = 440

- adjust the level of Intelligent Accompaniment
(how closely the accompaniment follows you)

- set or change pauses (where the accompaniment waits for you)

- add “breaths” (slight pauses in the music)

- adjust how the accompaniment tracks you
(if you feel that it is rushing or dragging)

- set reverb level (from none to Taj Mahal)

- turn off the display cursor or the entire music display

- look up symbols and terms used in the music


- and most importantly, you can save all of your custom changes
